Salary: $180,000 to $225,000 base salary, plus discretionary year-end bonuses, merit-based increases, origination credits, and a comprehensive benefits package

Schedule: Full-time, direct-hire, minimum 1,850 annual billable hours target

Duties:
The selected attorney will independently manage a broad portfolio of complex commercial disputes across state and federal courts. This role requires strong litigation judgment, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to handle sophisticated matters from inception through resolution.

Core Responsibilities include:
  • Managing complex commercial litigation matters through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, trial preparation, and appeals.
  • Conducting advanced legal research and developing strategic litigation approaches for corporate and institutional clients.
  • Drafting substantive motions, appellate briefs, Orders to Show Cause, and other sophisticated legal filings.
  • Taking and defending depositions of witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives.
  • Representing clients during hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and courtroom proceedings.
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and judicial officers.
  • Supporting business development efforts through thought leadership initiatives, networking activities, and professional visibility.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in multiple Northeast jurisdictions strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of substantive commercial litigation experience within a sophisticated law firm environment.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical reasoning, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation matters and competing deadlines.

  • Experience with modern litigation technology, e-discovery tools, and legal research platforms.
  • Strong commercial awareness and practical business judgment.
