Job Summary:
The Bendi Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating a Bendi (articulated) forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse or distribution environment. The operator must maintain safety, accuracy, and productivity while handling inventory and supporting warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Bendi forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks, racks, and storage areas.
- Move inventory to and from high racking systems safely and efficiently.
- Pick, stage, and organize orders according to warehouse procedures.
- Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock verification when needed.
- Work with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a Bendi or articulated forklift preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Ability to work in narrow aisle warehouse environments.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory handling.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
