About the Opportunity

A residential property management organization is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of assigned residential properties. The ideal candidate will be focused on maintaining high occupancy, supporting tenant satisfaction, and ensuring properties are operated efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
Coordinate maintenance requests and activities using property management software.
Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Monitor occupancy and implement strategies to maximize rental income.
Collaborate with sales and leasing teams to promote available properties.
Maintain accurate records of payments, tenant requests, and maintenance activity.
Proactively address property issues and help minimize potential legal and operational risks.
Be available for weekends and on-call emergencies when required.
Maintain a regular office presence and daily presence at assigned properties.

Requirements:

Proven experience in residential property management.
Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software preferred.
Knowledge of Section 8, rent stabilization regulations, and applicable housing laws preferred.
Strong communication and phone etiquette skills.
Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong tenant and vendor relationships.
