Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Reach Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a reach forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise while ensuring safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach forklift to pick, move, and store materials in warehouse racking systems.
- Load and unload pallets from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and inventory management tasks as required.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a reach forklift (certification preferred or required depending on employer).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience.
