Warehouse Administrative Coordinator – Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Administrative Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations through administrative, clerical, and coordination duties. This role ensures accurate documentation, smooth communication between departments, and efficient support for warehouse management and staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily administrative and clerical support for warehouse operations.
- Maintain and update inventory records, shipping logs, and receiving documentation.
- Process and verify paperwork such as purchase orders, invoices, bills of lading, and packing slips.
- Enter and manage data in warehouse management systems (WMS) or spreadsheets.
- Coordinate communication between warehouse staff, supervisors, drivers, and vendors.
- Assist with scheduling inbound and outbound shipments and dock appointments.
- Monitor inventory discrepancies and help resolve issues with accuracy.
- File, organize, and maintain physical and electronic records.
- Support payroll or timekeeping by tracking employee attendance and hours (if required).
- Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly operational reports for management.
- Assist with audits, cycle counts, and inventory checks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse procedures.
- Provide general support to warehouse supervisors and management as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse administration, logistics, or clerical roles preferred.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, email systems, data entry).
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse and logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or logistics training is a plus.
