Compensation & Benefits: 
  • Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing – Behavioral Health provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for inpatient behavioral health services. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, promotes patient safety, and fosters a culture of excellence in mental health care delivery.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Direct daily operations of the inpatient behavioral health unit. 
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. 
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. 
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. 
  • Oversee staff development, training, and performance evaluations. 
  • Promote a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff. 

Required Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 5 years of recent acute care inpatient behavioral health leadership experience (Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager level). 
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date. 
  • Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of start date. 
  • Background screening required. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
